We have developed a workflow for computing the seismic-wave moduli dispersion and attenuation due to squirt flow in numerical model derived from micro X-ray computed tomography image of cracked (through thermal treatment) Carrara marble sample. To generate model, is processed, segmented, meshed. The finite-element method adopted solve linearized, quasistatic Navier-Stokes equations describing laminar compressible viscous fluid inside cracks coupled with Lamé-Navier solid phase. compute effective P- S-wave three Cartesian directions dry conditions (saturated air) smaller fully saturated glycerin having either drained or undrained boundary conditions. For glycerin, results indicate significant frequency-dependent corresponding caused by flow. Squirt occurs response pressure gradients induced imposed deformations.
